Welcome to Anytime Personal Training's Message Board!

The board was started in May 2006 to provide its clients and their friends a way to share their experiences and passion for getting in shape.

As you make your way through the board and get to know our family here, you'll see why the board will become so popular. In the spirit of it's original "founding," this board promotes love, support, and more love for all things health and fitness. We encourage one another through the good and bad. Feel free also to discuss hot topics even if it means exchange opposing views, as long as it always comes back to uplifting one another and discussing from a place of support.

To really make the most of your board visits (soon to be addiction, just you watch ), here are a few tips and tricks to using the features of the board:

Posting a message: You can use the Quick Reply box at the end of a message thread or the Reply button at the top of any message. By using the Reply button, you can play around with the text (change colors, make it scroll across the page, add smilie faces, etc.) Either one works just fine.

Quoting a message: Sometimes you may want to reply to a particular post within a thread. So people know to which post you're referring, simply click the Quote button at the top of the post you want to quote, the start typing YOUR message AFTER this phrase: [/quote] When you post, your reply will appear below the original post.

Posting Pictures:
1. Go to www.photobucket.com and open a free account.
2. In your account, at the top at SUBMIT PICTURES, click
on BROWSE and find the picture on your computer.
Double click the picture to add it, then click SUBMIT.
3. Now, your picture is saved in photobucket.
Click on EDIT above the picture and you can adjust the size DOWN only. Try not to make it larger than 300x300 or 300x400 at the most.
4. Once the size is good, you will be brought back to your album. Left click the IMG code under your picture to highlight it in blue. Then right click and pick COPY.
5. Open ANOTHER browswer with the message board and be in the REPLY box of the thread you want to post to. Get your cursor in the REPLY box and right click , then choose PASTE. You will see the IMG code UNTIL YOU POST, then you will see your picture!

Creating an Avatar: Go to Profile, go to Modify Profile, go to Avatar URL, and follow Steps 1 through 4 of the Posting Pictures thread (shown above). When you get to Step 4, paste the HTTP code instead of the IMG code in the Avatar URL.

Previewing a Post: Sometimes before you post a message, you may want to see what it will look like to everyone else on the board. This is valuable when you are posting pictures because sometimes they don't show up on your first try. Just click Preview at the bottom of the text box to do so. You can only use this feature in the regular Reply function (not Quick Reply).

Modifying or Deleting a Post: You might forget to preview and realize you need to change something in your post. Or maybe you realize you may have said too much LOL! At the bottom of your post, you will see Modify and Delete options. Click that and either re-type or delete your post. You will only see these options if it is YOUR post.

Sending a PERSONAL message to another member: This feature is quite useful. If you have a question just for one member and are not seeking other responses (or have not asked a particular question/provided a topic to which most members can respond), it is great to simply use the PM feature. Click on the name of the member and then click on Send Personal Message. Voila!

Private/Personal messaging is also important when you have specific questions about member's fitness programs. In many cases, members will be reluctant to share specific details of the program they have hired a professional nutritionist/coach to provide to them.

Specific information of this sort is typically tailored for that individual's needs, the cost of which is usually not taken lightly General questions about fitness programs are great and encouraged -- as are general comments about fitness tips you'd like to share. Just try to keep them general and not attributable to any particular coach

Thanks for reading and ENJOY!!

Success is about the journey- not the destination. At the end of the day, achievement is about what you gave up to get there!
